Basketball Recap: Scott's Branch Comes Up Short

Scott's Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 57-36 to the Crestwood Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since February 13th.

Scott's Branch's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Crestwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-7.

Scott's Branch will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bethune-Bowman at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Crestwood, they and Timberland will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Crestwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Timberland likes a good challenge.
