Cullman owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They came out on top against the Florence Falcons by a score of 5-0. For the Bearcats, this counts as revenge for the 13-3 win the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Cullman and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs over those games. As for Florence, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Cullman and Florence will both be playing Hewitt-Trussville the next time they take the field. Florence will head out to face Hewitt-Trussville at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Cullman will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
