Volleyball Game Preview: Gustine Tigers vs. Lingleville Cardinals

Gustine hasn't had much luck against Lingleville recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 11:00 a.m. Gustine will be strutting in after a win while Lingleville will be coming in after a loss.

Lingleville will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Gustine extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 victory over Morgan.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 17-25, 25-17.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lingleville challenged Rising Star on Tuesday. The Cardinals fell 3-1 to the Wildcats.

Lingleville's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Gustine, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Gustine couldn't quite get it done against Lingleville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
