Basketball Game Preview: Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies vs. Heath Bulldogs

Johnstown-Monroe hasn't had much luck against Heath recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Heath Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

Last Wednesday, Johnstown-Monroe came up short against Mt. Vernon and fell 48-39.

Meanwhile, Heath put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Zanesville with a sharp 53-29 victory. Fans of the Bulldogs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Johnstown-Monroe better keep an eye on Jordan Kaminsky. He was instrumental in Heath's win, going 9 for 11 on his way to 23 points along with seven boards and four steals. Those 23 points gave Kaminsky a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Devito, who posted seven points.

Heath pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Johnstown-Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
