Baseball Recap: Robinson Comes Up Short

Robinson lost a heartbreaker to West Rowan when they met back in April of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 5-1 to the Falcons. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Robinson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aury Greenfield, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for West Rowan, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Coming up, Robinson will host Stuart W. Cramer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Storm have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. As for West Rowan, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 16-1 win against Concord on the 11th.
