Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Waterville

Waterville hadn't done well against Soap Lake recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Waterville Shockers walked away with a 52-41 victory over the Soap Lake Eagles. The win was nothing new for the Shockers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Waterville is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points per game. As for Soap Lake, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 7-8 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterville and Oroville will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Soap Lake has already played their next contest (against Moses Lake Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
