Volleyball Recap: Eureka Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Eureka won the last time they faced Fredonia and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tornadoes came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-0. The game was the first time the Tornadoes have beaten the Yellowjackets on their court since October 4, 2022.

While Eureka won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20.

Eureka's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 10-14. As for Fredonia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-22-3 record this season.

Fredonia will take on Altoona-Midway on Monday. Eureka will be paying especially close attention to the Yellowjackets' match: after the Yellowjackets face off against the Jets, they'll take on Eureka again on Monday.
