Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Schenectady). They blew past the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans 86-62 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Patriots have posted since November 30, 2023.

Despite the loss, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake saw an underclassman step up: sophomore John Klopfer almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Skinner, who posted eight points and five steals.

Schenectady's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Schenectady will face off against Guilderland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, they will take on Gloversville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake is facing Gloversville at the right time seeing as Gloversville is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
