Baseball Recap: El Dorado Has No Trouble Against Galt

El Dorado got themselves on the board against Galt on Tuesday, but Galt never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 10-0 victory. The Cougars have beaten the Warriors the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Warriors has come to flipping the script.

JJ Allen and Joe Parsons did most of the damage at the plate: Allen went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Parsons went 3-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and one RBI. El Dorado is undefeated when Parsons posts two or more runs, but 4-5 otherwise. Rylan Phillips was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

El Dorado was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in four consecutive matches.

El Dorado's record now sits at 9-5. As for Galt, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

El Dorado will have a chance to go back-to-back against Galt: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
