Softball Recap: St. John's Comes Up Short

St. John was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Charleston Math & Science Riptide, falling 16-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Riptide this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 last Tuesday.

St. John's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Charleston Math & Science, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John's will head out to take on Bethune-Bowman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Charleston Math & Science, they will challenge Scott's Branch at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
