Volleyball Recap: Pittsburg Comes Up Short

Pittsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the North Hopkins Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Pittsburg was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-20.

Pittsburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North Hopkins, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pittsburg will take on Texas at 10:00 a.m. on the 28th. As for North Hopkins, they will face off against Miller Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
