Baseball Recap: Christchurch School Gets the Win

Christchurch School came out on top against Peninsula Catholic on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run seventh inning. The Seahorses sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 victory over the Knights. For the Seahorses, this counts as revenge for the 8-3 win the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

Trey Fitchett was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Anthony Dentener also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Christchurch School's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Peninsula Catholic, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-15.

As of now, neither Christchurch School nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
