Basketball Recap: Braham Takes a Loss

Braham has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a blow on Saturday as they fell 91-72 to the Barnum Bombers. Braham was not able to make up for their defeat to Barnum from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Braham lost, don't look at Tyler Eklund. Despite the final result, he shot 6-for-10 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 36 points and ten boards. The matchup was Eklund's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tanner Doble, who posted 17 points and five boards.

Braham's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Barnum, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

When Braham and Barnum next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Braham will try to stop Upsala's three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Barnum will try to stop Cloquet's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
