Recap: Unity Reed Lions vs. Patriot Pioneers

The Unity Reed Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 102-33 loss at the hands of Patriot. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Unity Reed has scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Unity Reed lost, one person who can't be blamed is Charles Pargo. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points. Pargo scored a full 33.3% of Unity Reed's points, the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Unity Reed's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Patriot, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Unity Reed and Battlefield will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Patriot is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Osbourn Park at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. Osbourn Park is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home.
