Volleyball Recap: Legend Triumphs

With a playoff win on the line, Legend rose to the challenge on Friday. They skirted past the Dakota Ridge Eagles 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since September 25th.

Reese Betschart paced Legend's offense, picking up 24 kills. Betschart got some help from Leah Tidey and her 68 assists. Finally, Annie Cecil kept Legend's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Legend's win bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Dakota Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.

Legend wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Pine Creek on the 14th. Dakota Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
