Volleyball Recap: San Dimas Saints vs. Los Altos Conquerors
While San Dimas's win against Los Altos wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Saints won by a set and slipped past the Conquerors 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Conquerors: they've now won three in a row.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day San Dimas got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 28-26, 19-25, 25-21, 24-26, 15-5.
Jacob Pardus paced San Dimas' offense, picking up 21 kills. Pardus got some help from Abel Hagos and his 43 assists. Finally, Emiliano Hernandez kept San Dimas' defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.
Despite the loss, Los Altos still got an impressive performance from Christopher Talavera, who had 32 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaysin Daum Smith, who had ten digs.
