Basketball Recap: St. John's Prep Takes a Loss

St. John's Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 77-38 loss at the hands of the Malden Catholic Lancers. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 79-57 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. John's Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Malden Catholic, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

St. John's Prep will be playing at home against St. John's at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Malden Catholic, they will head out on the road to take on Boston College High at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Malden Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Boston College High likes a good challenge.
