Basketball Recap: Rosholt Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rosholt can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 66-34 loss at the hands of the Almond-Bancroft Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 448th, while the Eagles are ranked 211th).

Rosholt's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Almond-Bancroft, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-5.

Rosholt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Almond-Bancroft, they have already played their next contest, a 56-50 win against Wabeno/Laona on the 8th.
