Calhoun Academy had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Thomas Sumter Academy Generals with a sharp 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Joseph Lyons made a big impact no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched.
