Los Lunas not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Santa Fe Demons. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Demons: they've now won seven in a row.

Los Lunas was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-20.

Madison Pruitt paced Los Lunas' offense, picking up ten kills. Pruitt got some help from Kori Robinson and her 18 assists. Lynae Hands controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Santa Fe still got an impressive performance from Payten Chavez, who had 13 digs and one assist.

The win got Los Lunas back to even at 5-5. As for Santa Fe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Los Lunas will challenge Santa Teresa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Fe, they will take on St. Michael's at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
