Volleyball Recap: Clearview Takes a Loss

Clearview lost against Oberlin back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Clippers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Phoenix.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 22-25, 25-16, 25-23.

Oberlin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alyssa Webb, who had 12 digs, seven kills, three aces, and one block. That's the most kills Webb has posted over her last three matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Joanna Tatum, who had ten kills, six digs, and four aces.

Clearview's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Oberlin, their win ended an 11-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-14.

Clearview has already played their next matchup (against Garrett Morgan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Oberlin, they are taking a road trip to square off against Columbia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
