Basketball Game Preview: Arthur County Wolves vs. Wauneta-Palisade Broncos

Arthur County is 0-6 against Wauneta-Palisade since February of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Arthur County Wolves are taking a road trip to square off against the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos. Wauneta-Palisade took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Arthur County, who comes in off a win.

In Friday's Canine Competition, Arthur County prevailed. They snuck past Potter-Dix with a 59-54 win on Friday. The Wolves didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, Wauneta-Palisade played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 58-30 loss at the hands of Maywood/Hayes Center. The Broncos have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Wauneta-Palisade's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Arthur County, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.

Arthur County came up short against Wauneta-Palisade when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 67-63. Can Arthur County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
