Crestview extends road losing streak to seven

Recap: Crestview Bulldogs vs. Booker T. Washington Wildcats

It was a good run, but the Crestview Bulldogs unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were beaten by Booker T. Washington 66-17. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Crestview has scored all season.

Crestview's loss came despite strong showings from Kennedy Baluran and Madyson Boydstun. Baluran scored seven points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Boydstun scored no points.

Chamiah Francis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Booker T. Washington, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Francis has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Laila Snow, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Crestview's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Booker T. Washington, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestview will take on Mosley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Booker T. Washington, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Pensacola at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Pensacola will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 104th, while Booker T. Washington is ranked eighth).
