Riverside had lost 11 straight, but after bumping their record up to 5-14 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They pulled ahead with a 63-62 photo finish over the Colville Crimson Hawks. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Crimson Hawks two weeks ago, they had to take a 57-52 loss.

Riverside got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben Riggles out in front who shot 58% from the field on his way to 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. That's the most points Riggles has posted since back in December of 2025. Cade Koesel also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

As for Colville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (59), they still had to take the loss.

Parker Darnold and Brock Benson certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Darnold went 8-for-17 to rack up 24 points and three steals, while Benson dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards. Darnold is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Haynes, who earned seven points and six assists.

As of now, neither Riverside nor Colville have any future games scheduled.
