Basketball Recap: Cardinal O'Hara Gets the Win

Cardinal O'Hara posted their closest victory since January 11th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Montgomery Aztecs 46-44.

Montgomery lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Paula Zumstein, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 38.6% of Montgomery's points, marking the seventh time in a row Zumstein has posted more than a third of the team's points. Dati Sanchez was another key player, putting up 13 points and seven steals.

The win got Cardinal O'Hara back to even at 3-3. As for Montgomery, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Cardinal O'Hara will take on Waverly in a tournament on Saturday. As for Montgomery, they will be taking part in a tournament against Morse at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
