Basketball Game Preview: Westminster Wildcats vs. Paideia Pythons

The Westminster Wildcats will challenge the Paideia Pythons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Westminster is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 69-17 victory over Centennial. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Paideia posted their biggest win since November 19, 2024 on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Walker 46-17. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pythons.

Westminster now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Paideia, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.

Westminster was able to grind out a solid win over Paideia when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 38-26. Will Westminster repeat their success, or does Paideia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
