Lakes is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Wauconda just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. The matchup between the Eagles and the Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Eagles falling 31-14.

Meanwhile, Kaneland took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 55-28 win over Althoff Catholic. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Knights' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Crusaders are ranked 213th).

Kaneland's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22.8 points. As for Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
