The Laney Buccaneers will face off against the New Hanover Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Laney is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Laney barely beat Topsail the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Buccaneers blew past the Pirates 4-1 on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Laney considering their one-goal performance the match before.

They hit Topsail with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Henry Tidey, Ben Bastable, Grady Luckadoo, and Bishop Babcock-Giles.

Meanwhile, New Hanover and West Brunswick finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

Laney's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matchups. New Hanover's draw gives them a new season record of 11-4-2.
