Soccer Game Preview: Bruton vs. Thomas Jefferson

The Bruton Panthers will take on the Thomas Jefferson Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bruton will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Bruton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Nandua get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Brody McHenry had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Bruton got from the refs.

Tim Walson and Juan Martin scored both of Bruton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Windsor typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Thomas Jefferson proved too difficult a challenge. They beat the Dukes by a goal, winning 3-2. That's two games straight that Thomas Jefferson have won by just one goal.

Bruton's win bumped their record up to 9-7-2. As for Thomas Jefferson, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-1.

Bruton got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March of 2024 against Thomas Jefferson by a conclusive 6-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
