It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fruitport can now relate to. They fell just short of the Fremont Packers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Fruitport's loss dropped their record down to 33-14-1. As for Fremont, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 39-12.
