Soccer Recap: Carter Takes a Loss

Carter lost against Kimball back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Carter Cowboys lost 4-1 to the Kimball Knights.

Carter's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Kimball, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Carter and Kimball: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Carter will try to hand Madison their tenth-straight defeat when the two meet at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Carter has given up an average of 4.7 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. Similarly, Kimball will look to extend Inspired Vision's four-game losing streak when they meet at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
