Hudson's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Nordonia with a sharp 7-0 win. Hudson might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Royalton beat Hathaway Brown 2-0 on Saturday. Given North Royalton's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Hathaway Brown are ranked 83rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Royalton's victory bumped their record up to 11-0-2. As for Hudson, their win bumped their record up to 12-0-1.
