Recap: Brushton-Moira Panthers vs. St. Lawrence Central Larries
The Brushton-Moira Panthers suffered their biggest loss since December 2, 2023 on Saturday. Their tough 58-35 loss to St. Lawrence Central might stick with them for a while. Brushton-Moira was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Lawrence Central apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
It was another big night for Ayden Beach, who scored 29 points along with nine rebounds and eight steals for St. Lawrence Central. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Beach has scored at least a third of St. Lawrence Central's points. Another player making a difference was Austin Mason, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Brushton-Moira's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for St. Lawrence Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Tupper Lake the next time they take the court. Brushton-Moira will head out to face Tupper Lake at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while St. Lawrence Central will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
