Cross Plains is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Blanket 79-34 on Tuesday. The Buffaloes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 31 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Rising Star waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They escaped with a win against the Tigers by the margin of a single free throw, 1-0.

Rising Star pushed their record up to 16-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.7 points per game. As for Cross Plains, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Cross Plains was able to grind out a solid win over Rising Star when the teams last played back in January, winning 42-32. Will Cross Plains repeat their success, or does Rising Star have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
