Preview: Century Centurions vs. Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros
The Century Centurions will head out on the road to face off against the Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Century entered their tilt with NOVA Academy with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Century blew past NOVA Academy, posting a 66-26 victory on the road.
Meanwhile, even though Saddleback scored an imposing 61 points on Friday, Rancho Alamitos still came out on top. The stars were shining brightly for Rancho Alamitos in a 75-61 win over Saddleback. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Rancho Alamitos.
Inoke Malo was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds. The game was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Osvaldo Ramos, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Century is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Rancho Alamitos, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7.
Century was dealt a bruising 53-23 loss at the hands of Rancho Alamitos in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Can Century avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
