Softball Recap: Lee-Scott Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Randolph County

Lee-Scott Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Randolph County Tigers by a score of 8-3 on Tuesday.

Lee-Scott Academy has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-14-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Randolph County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-13.

Lee-Scott Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-2 loss against Mars Hill Bible on the 13th. Randolph County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
