Football Game Preview: Macon County Bulldogs vs. Charlton County Indians

After each having a week off, the Macon County Bulldogs and the Charlton County Indians will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. Macon County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Macon County proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by 51) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Taylor County 21-19.

Jakeyveon Parker produced another solid effort rushing for 148 yards and one touchdown, while also picking up 43 receiving yards and one score.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Macon County proved: they limited Taylor County to a paltry 1.2 yards per carry. The team can thank Timothy Warren for the heroic effort on defense: he. Macon County's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.4.
