Volleyball Recap: Royal Takes a Loss

Royal lost against Lamar Consolidated back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons came up short against the Mustangs, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 25-16.

Royal dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lamar Consolidated, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Royal wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Fort Bend Hightower on the 28th. As for Lamar Consolidated, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Alief Taylor on the 26th.
