Henderson County took an 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Breckinridge County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Colonels won by a run and slipped past the Fighting Tigers 5-4.

Maddox Golday tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tucker Siewert, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Hunter Evans was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Henderson County's win bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Breckinridge County, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-12.
