Elkhorn has gone 5-0 against Hastings recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Elkhorn Antlers just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Hastings Tigers at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Elkhorn has three straight victories, Hastings has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Thursday, Elkhorn blew past Ashland-Greenwood, posting a 61-33 win. The Antlers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Hastings' game on Tuesday was all tied up 13-13 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 38-29 to Northwest. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Vikings are ranked 47th).

Elkhorn is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.8 points. As for Hastings, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Everything came up roses for Elkhorn against Hastings in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 58-26 victory. Does Elkhorn have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hastings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
