Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask De Kalb). They claimed a resounding 50-6 win over the Queen City Bulldogs. The Bears' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

De Kalb's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dom Dunn, who rushed for 119 yards and one score on only ten carries. Those 119 rushing yards gave Dunn a new career-high. Walker Matteson was in the mix as well, providing De Kalb with two TDs.

De Kalb pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.0 points over those games. As for Queen City, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Coming up, De Kalb will square off against Hooks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Queen City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
