While Reed's win against Spanish Springs wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Cougars on Saturday. Reed wouldn't have won without Matthew Perez, who scored the game-winner.

The win got Reed back to even at 3-3-3. As for Spanish Springs, the defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 6-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Reed is set to face off against their familiar foe Reno at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Spanish Springs will challenge rival North Valleys at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
