Soccer Game Preview: Central vs. Webb City

The Central Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Webb City Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Central came up short against Neosho and fell 5-3.

Meanwhile, Webb City kept a clean sheet against Lebanon on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Yellowjackets. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Webb City's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Their offense was hitting Lebanon from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Alexandra Arreola-Maturino led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Webb City now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
