York came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Hinsdale Central Red Devils by a score of 28-18. The Dukes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Devils, too.

York's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Hinsdale Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. York will face off against rival Downers Grove North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Dukes 13.5, the Trojans 12.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Hinsdale Central is set to square off against their familiar foe Glenbard West at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
