Volleyball Recap: Kewaskum Beats Sheboygan Falls for Their Third Straight Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Kewaskum walked away with it. They came out on top against the Sheboygan Falls Falcons by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kewaskum walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 22-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Meygan Thelen and Kenley Mortenson certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Thelen had 11 digs and two assists, while Mortenson had 15 digs and eight kills. Thelen has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Kewaskum's victory bumped their record up to 19-17. As for Sheboygan Falls, their defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 23-20.

Looking ahead, Kewaskum will challenge Xavier at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sheboygan Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
