Council came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Horseshoe Bend Mustangs as they made off with a 62-37 win. The Lumberjacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Council is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Horseshoe Bend, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Council will take on Garden Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Garden Valley is on a four-game streak of home wins, Council a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Horseshoe Bend has already played their next match (against Centennial Baptist), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
