Baseball Recap: Memphis University School Takes a Loss

Memphis University School fell victim to Christian Brothers and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Purple Wave, falling 9-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Owls of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Memphis University School and nudges their season record down to 4-8. As for Christian Brothers, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

While Memphis University School had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
