Softball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Flat Rock Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 19-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Jefferson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Grube, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Calyn Kay also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Jefferson's record is now 1-7. As for Flat Rock, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will venture away from home to challenge Summerfield at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Flat Rock, they will host Pinckney at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
