Basketball Game Preview: Rockdale Tigers vs. Navasota Rattlers

The Rockdale Tigers and the Navasota Rattlers will compete for holiday cheer at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Rockdale is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Last Tuesday, Rockdale was able to grind out a solid victory over Troy, taking the game 51-41.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Navasota). They came out on top against East Bernard by a score of 72-59 on Tuesday.

Rockdale has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.4 points per game. As for Navasota, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Things could have been worse for Rockdale, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 48-32 loss to Navasota when the teams last played back in December of 2023.
