Recap: Pelham Hornets vs. Miller County Pirates
The Pelham Hornets were the 66-43 winner over the Miller County Pirates when they last played one another on January 2nd, but their luck changed this time around. Pelham lost to Miller County at home by a decisive 63-47 margin on Tuesday.
Miller County was led to victory by Andrew Keown and Jayden McCray. Keown scored 19 points, while McCray scored 27 points. McCray is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight.
Pelham now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Miller County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.
Pelham will head out on the road to take on Irwin County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Miller County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pataula Charter Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pataula Charter Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
